Re: Anybody Using SSMA Designations for Call-Outs on Light Gage Structures ?

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
One of my structural engineers just came in my office and said to me: " I think we must be the only people in the world who use these SSMA designations.  Everytime we have a job, we get calls asking what we mean"  Very timely question.  I am definetly going to add a note to the drawings explaining what the designation means.

Best regards,

Subject: Anybody Using SSMA Designations for Call-Outs on Light Gage Structures ?

Just wanted a quick poll to see if anyone is calling out their light gage members on drawings using the SSMA standard (i.e., 600S162-54) ?

Thanks

Robert
