Bill,

Yep, but you need an interface to the SQL if you want to do anything with
it.  I know, for all practical purposes Paradox is dead, but man, it worked
great.

I think the terms "MS Access" and "large amounts of information" are not
compatible.

Best to go for an SQL solution, like MySQL or PostgreSQL which are free
software.
