Interesting University Bridge Project

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
An interesting project done by a student of a colleague in an
engineering course in England.

With balsa wood and paper, the students had to build a bridge to take load.

The paper, obviously as tension members, and the balsa as spanning,
and compression members.

Interesting to think about when you're only given so much of each,
with top loading.

We'll have pics later, will send.

Regards,
Refugio
