Title: Message
David,

"Collector elements, splices, and their connections to resisting elements shall have the design strength to resist the combined loads resulting from the special seismic load of section 1612.4"(UBC1633.2.6)
Do you think for collector themselves we should also include both 5%ECC  and omega factor?

Collectors themselves, include 5%eccen.  Connections
of collectors to LFR elements, include the 5% eccen
AND Omega factor.  The 5% accidental is only if you
have a rigid diaphragm.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong....  :-P
