Try here.

Looked around a bit, couldn't find exactly the Thornthwaite Index map, but a whole lot of other useful stuff.  http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/climateproducts.html

Subject: Thornthwaite Index

When using the PTI method to design, the soil parameters em and Ym are based on the Thornthwaite Index.

The PTI manual has a Thornthwaite Index map that uses data from the years 1954  to 1974.  Is this the most recent map or is there a more recent one commercial available from the someone like the Soil Conservation Society?
