Re: 2D / 3D Frame Analysis - Affordable

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
One of the things I like best about RISA is that if I happen to go some
time without using it, I can basically pick up right where I left off.
Several years ago (in the DOS days), I used a competing program that I
pretty much had to have the manual with me at all times.

Look at Risa technologies for the simple frame / beam / wall problems.
Very
intuitive and the output options are excellent. Another plus is the
user
interface is the same for both the 2D and 3D programs so in essence you
are
learning only one program. The other nice aspect is the output /
input
tables are cut and paste compatible with Excel.

We use Risa as a workhorse program for simple problems, preliminary
checks,
all kinds of applications.
