RE: Engineer's names

When I was in military college, we were called officer
Cadets. There was one guy with the surname Officer so
he was addressed as Officer Cadet Officer.  Another
year had a guy named major.  I really wonder if he
stayed in the military to achieve being addressed as
Major Major.
