RE: Form release oil

John,

Did you specify a certain delivery slump.  Say 4"?

The rule of thumb is 1 gallon of water per yard per inch of slump.

So to get a 9 yard truck from 2 to 4 inches you need 18 gallons.

You can add water to the mix once, but I usually don't add more than 20
gallons if possible.

Arvel,

I was slightly exaggerating.  But the mix was so stiff
it wouldn't slide down the chute.  It certainly should
have been more workable than that.
