Has anybody got involved with lean manufacturing engineering or 6-sigma movement?

How much could these affect construction industry?

It will affect any industry, up until it becomes the "last big thing," and the "next big thing" in jargon-speak rears up, allowing the opportunity for the P. J. Barnums of the modern techno-industrial age to publish their books, stage their seminars and generally rope in another group of suckers at $$$ a pop.

HINT: Always treat with suspicion any "new theory" that includes training seminars that bestow titles like "Black Belt" and "Ninja."
