Yeah,

 

I had STAAD problems last week and spoke (?) with someone at REI who had a very thick accent and was barely understandable.  I e-mailed my STAAD input file and he never did find the problem.  Instead, he just added some remark statements to isolate one of my load cases to "fix" the problem.  I subsequently found the problem - it was my error in a units statement.  I have never received competent help from REI and been using it since 1985.

This is one of the reasons I am seriously considering switching to RAM.  Technical Assistance is most certainly becoming a huge difference for me.
