Cross brace it (chevron or X bracing) for in-plane rigidity and if you are trying to eliminate buckling of the columns, provide horizontal cross pieces to reduce the unbraced length of the column (KL/r).

These are static load tests of equipment attached to the fixture. Testing process imparts vertical point loads to the top of the frame columns.

What is the purpose of the test ?  Cannot really answer until we know what it is you are trying to determine.
