Back from N.O. for Katrina emergency response

I just got back from being the Structural Specialist for a Urban Search and Rescue group and i had a quick look at the 338 groups messages.

As for the Superdome, from the highway it looks like the only real damage was the rubber roofing pealed off of 75%, of course i have't been able to read if there was other damage other than it leaked. If it wasn't designed for a Cat 5 storm the designers should be given a pat on the back for good work.
