Depends on the kind of Glass there are many different types of glass with varying densities and surface properties.

 

He did not give much information as to the full purpose or the final intent of using glass as opposed to other materials, but he can also look into the use of Heavy plastics.

 

I was Exploring the use as a fish tank walk way similar to the restaurant in this link. As you walk into the house you walk over a glass floor with a fish tank underneath.

What about the liability issue related to a slippery surface?  Just

something to consider.
