Arturo,

A good idea. It would also seem that if the plaster were sprayed black then
any crack would be much more evident.

You may use wet plaster attached to each side ot the crack, like a strip
crossing the crack, no more than 1 cm thick. Allow it to dry. It will tear
at any crack movement.
