Dave,
No need to apologize.  Every nation, state, province or
town has its share of quacks. Unfortunately this guy is
getting more publicity than the average quack and that
is what's wrong. He feeds on this list as it gives him
more publicity and some advice--in time, most people
will forget his bad reputation but remember the name.
It is time we all wrote him off.
