I've been using the Yahoo thing and like it.  It creates 
an archive of your system on your hard drive.  It's 
amazing how much I use it.  It creates a thumbnail of 
all your files, including dwg files if you install an add-in.  
That said, it's always running (taking up CPU time)
If I didn't use Yahoo, I would use something else because
anything else is better than windows search.  In fact, I 
think something like this will be part of the new Windows
that will come out later this year.
