RE: Above-Ground Concrete Storage Tank for High-Temp Service

It is like anything else. How high is "high temp"? It can be done within material limits. Just like cryogenic temperatures, you need the appropriate materials.

Anyone got any comments re the above? Anyone ever looked at something like this before?

Seems like a post-tensioned tank might be a real problem.

Is there any history of e.g. storage silos for solids under high temps, or other, similar service?

Thanks in advance.
