Title: Message
PBS one-hour documentary on disaster-resistant housing is currently playing on stations in the U.S., right now predominantly in the west and midwest. You can view the two thirty minute segments at:  http://www.itvisus.com/programs/homes/watch.asp.

It's actually a pretty good documentary. It talks about proper design and construction techniques to resist natural disasters. Researchers and engineers are portrayed in a positive light as experts to assist with design and retrofit.

They discuss various recent disasters including wind, seismic, flooding, tornadoes, etc.
