At side of truss simp. has HETA20 IS OK
THE problem with gable end the ridge  is 12 ft higher than the wall
that the reason I will try to design the wall cantilever or span horizontal

1. Full length plate at top of wall.  The question is how are you going to anchor the truss to the wall for Fp forces ?
2. Does the wall stop at the bottom of the truss ?  If so can you install (long) braces up to the roof?
The trusses themselves need bracing for out of plane wind loading.
