IIRC you are in Texas - you may also want to check with the local TxDot construction office to get the name of some manufacturers.  I don't remember the name, but I believe that there is a company in Texas that provides many of the elastmeric bearings for FDOT projects.  Does TxDot have a Qualified Products List?

For your application, either a laminated pad (neoprene with embedded steel plates) or a plain elastomeric pad (just neoprene) should work.

Subject: Elastomeric bearing supplier

Can anybody tell me a USA supplier of elastomeric bridge bearings?  I do a Google search and come up with lots of overseas suppliers but no USA suppliers.  Web sites or phone numbers would be appreciated.

Thanks.
