For blast dynamics I would suggest, John Biggs, "Introduction to
Structural
Dynamics". I have to borrow a copy from my colleagues. It is an
expensive
book. Mine disappeared some years ago, and I have seen prices from $200
to
$2,000 for that book. So I will continue borrowing it.

Is that the one first published in 1964?

If so, all I can say is "wow, I've got a copy of it stashed around here
somewhere."

Guess I can use that as part of my grandkids' college fund!
