You could select the check box in the dimension style dialog box to
scale
dimensions to paper space. You have one dimension style and it works in
all
view ports no matter the scale.

I was wondering when or if anyone was going to mention this. I've heard
the "I have to have different scales for all my dimensions!" argument as
a pretext for scaling, not the views, but the DETAILS, so that you can
plot in model-space.

My opinion: I think we tend to learn one thing, one way, and then stick
with it. Many times, that's smart. But there are times when it's not. I
think the whole "paper-space" construct is a boon to drafting, myself.
Maybe not when it originally came out (Release 11 or 12?), but since
they stuck the "tabs" thingy in there, it's been great.
