RE: Got My "Steel Construction Manual"

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The cover is a mimic of the 1927 First Edition with gold raised letters on black. The only difference is "THIRTEENTH EDITION" at the bottom. The thirteenth edition is bigger than the first edition.... a lot bigger.

I really like how AISC presented the information with ASD columns highlighted in green (harkening to the ASD 9th Edition green book).

Forget about all the technical junk.

COOL "retro" cover, with a 1930s-looking "Serif" style font, raised gold
lettering inside an embossed frame.

Looks like something my grandfather might have had on his bookshelf!
(sans the CD, of course).

Oh, and I guess "black" is the new "navy blue."

Inside, well, the use of color in the lookup tables is tres-chic.
