This unique conference features a very strong technical program addressing all areas of architectural engineering, including subjects of interest to:

structural engineers (blast, serviceability, noise & vibration, concrete anchors, innovative materials)
mechanical engineers (HVAC design, plumbing coordination, life-cycle costs, energy efficiency)
electrical engineers, (controls, communications, power, lighting)
architects (smoke & fire containment, storm shelters, forensics, building envelope, curtain walls, sustainability)
planners, managers, and related professions (planning methods, facilities management, managing delays)

In addition, there will be several subjects of interest to everyone, such as the recently formed Building Security Council and lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina. The conference will present over 110 presentations in 32 sessions, 6 half-day workshops, 2 technical tours, a student essay competition, and several student competitions.  Social events will include three receptions and an awards luncheon.  Outstanding speakers, such as Mila Kennett and Stan Caldwell, will give keynote addresses at the opening plenary and the awards luncheon.  The conference technical content is registered with AIA, so that attendees can earn either PDH or CES learning units.

Let's face it, Omaha will be the place to be at the end of March!
