Re: Frost depth in Northern Jordan

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
JC Chou,

I think that there should be a geotechnical engineer for the project and that it should be his/her job to tell you that. This is a very site specific bit of information. Even though some people like me may think that there is no frost in Jordan the altitude at the job site may dictate differently.

Regards,

H. Daryl Richardson

I don't have anything on Jordan, but all of the sites that I have in Saudia Arabia (east of Jordan) show that the frost depth os 0.

Fellow Engineers,

Recently, I have a project in Jordan and I need to find the frost depth
requirements for fence footings under unheated environment and column
footings of heated buildings. Any helps will be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards. Thanks.
