I have been told by a local lumber supplier here in Houston that he can furnish up to 28 feet with no problem. However, I did not discuss whether longer lengths could be supplied “with problem.”


Yeah, that’s probably SYP, or S-P-F, and it’s Texas, not California. Just wanted to show you that ours is longer than yours. J

What is the longest length that is readily available for 2x6 & 2x10 DF studs stocked at lumber yards in California? I seem to recall 24-26 feet, but not sure.
