The Unified Facilities Criteria UFC 3-310-01 does list Ss and S1 values for
selected locations outside the US. I haven't used IBC200x so I can't tell
you if these values are directly applicable.

Subject: IBC Outside the U.S.

Hi,
As you probably know, UBC 97 has an appendix that gives you several seismic
regions outside the US.

Since IBC is newer and "international" I was hoping to find something
similar for Ss and S1 without success. Has anyone used IBC 2003 or 2000
outside the U.S.? Any ideas on how to get these two values if they are not
mapped in the code?

Thank you,

JJ
