RE: Coupled Shear Walls

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

SEAOC Seismic Design Manual was published in 1999 I believe. It is in Volume III where concrete design is covered.

The Mini seminar was on a Saturday morning in 2004 I believe, that is all I remember. I may have the proceedings at home. I will look it up this weekend and get back to you.

Thanks, Ben.  Do you have a date for either document?  Don Gilbert at SEAOSC has asked for dates in order to find them.

There aren’t too many good references about this subject. SEAOC SDM has an example for coupled shear walls that I have seen and liked. A couple of years ago SEAOSC did a mini seminar and there was a good presentation on coupled shear wall by Martin Johnson. You may want to get the proceedings on that also.

What is a good reference for understanding the analysis of a coupled shear wall?
