I agree.  If you are going to design according to AASHTO standards, then you must have the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.  The 4th Edition will be available in mid January.
Textbooks may also be helpful to you, but you cannot design to the AASHTO criteria without knowing what it is.

I already have the books that you mentioned and I agree with you they are

most helpful.My concern is  the design of concrete members according to AASHTO

(differs from ACI at places ,I understand) as in my end we design according to

other standards
