RE: Concrete Mechanical Anchors

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

Not sure if this lends any insight or not: http://www.icc-es.org/News/concrete_anchors_memo.pdf

Also a contractor’s perspective: http://www.contractortoolsandsupplies.com/past/anchors/AnchorsAway.htm

As far as expansion anchors Hitli has a KB-TZ http://www.us.hilti.com/holus/modules/editorial/edit_singlepage.jsp?contentOID=160674

and Simson has the “Strong-Bolt”  http://www.simpsonanchors.com/catalog/mechanical/strong-bolt/index.html

that meet the criteria.

Subject: Concrete Mechanical Anchors

Listers,

This month ICC pulled reports on mechanical anchors in concrete unless they meet the code’s cracked concrete criteria.

Can anyone elaborate on this?

What are you using?

TIA
