[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Section 1633.1 requires this for certain types of irregular structures and for columns that are common to the lateral force resisting system in both directions.

Subject: Diagonal base shear UBC 97

In ASCE 7 a structure is to be analyzed with full base shear in one
orthogonal direction and 30% in the other orthogonal direction
simultaneously. Does the UBC-97 have a similar requirement?
