Bill Polhemus, that was a cheap shot

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

Bill,

What was that supposed to mean?  If you want to take a shot at my ethics, please have the courtesy to ask a few questions about what I do first. My email is at the bottom of my signature. Given the current state of the building codes, I could say the same thing about Structures right now but I wouldn’t because I know that we are all doing the best we can with the tools we have.  Same goes for biofuels.  Any competent engineer who looks at the data can see that we have an energy problem.  Biofuels is one avenue to tackle it. That was a cheap shot, and one that you can’t back up. You owe me an apology, as public as your crack.

If you haven’t been a member for 21 years, you obviously don’t support the organization.  Why would a solicitation of membership be offensive if you don’t care who ASCE is or what they do??

(N.B. Not to be too snarky...or maybe so...but anyone connected with the "biofuels industry" and the boondoggle that it's becoming doesn't have a lot of room to maneuver his "holier-than-thou.")
