RE:Basic Roof Diaph. Question

"Flat Roof"? "Standing Seam"? Hello?? If anyone is missing anything here, it is me missing how this system is going to keep water out of the building. Horizontal diagonal bracing seems like a reasonable system, but I agree with Kevin, the standing seam will likely be nothing but a headache for this application.
