If I had to do it all over again, I’d have probably shopped around on Ebay for another HP-41CX…  

IIRC, you're going to pay around $700 or 800 for an HP-41 flavored calculator on eBay. Even "cheapie" models like my venerable 20 year-old 32SII will fetch $400 or more.
