That's not true, at least on the face of it (I can't say what the reality is behind the scenes; for instance, IBM laptops aren't made by IBM any longer, but by the Chinese company Lenovo).

But you can purchase "newfangled" HP calculators as we speak, even with RPN. Pretty darn good ones, too.
