I'm not assuming anything. I'm just repeating quotes from both US and Canadian sources. I don't disagree with your statement about the USA developing technology for these problems ( 90%?)-that's why I said the US states have done more to reduce pollution than Canada. It only makes sense that the US is the largest polluter in the world. It has the largest economy and has had that for many years (80-100?) so the extent of pollution is going to be large. Now you are doing something about it. So I don't understand what you are rejecting.
