Without going into specifics, some of my favorite breweries are:

Long Trail - VT
Smuttynose - NH
Otter Creek - VT
Magic Hat - VT

so many beers - so little time....

Has anybody ever had Snow Ghost beer, brewed in Whitefish, Montana.

Yuengling (the oldest brewery in the U.S.) makes some good beers here in the east.

I welcome the beer topic. I'm glad to see we've moved on from the topic of Global Warming, fossil fuels and Republican Politics. My Inbox was getting really cluttered.

My local favorite is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Locally we've also got Gordon Biersch for good summer ales and such. Wheat beer is good too.
You know, I think it's "Miller Time".

A great microbrewer is New Belgium in Fort Collins, CO. The Fat Tire brew is more and more common these days. What I miss most is Sunshine Wheat:(

The only time I seriously criticize the US is over their beer.

The beer in the US??? If you're talking about Natty Light or Bud or Coors, i'll take a Labatt's any day... but, there are plenty of tasty adult beverages 'round here. (mainly microbrews...)
