I agree with Harold. In Florida it is typically done like any other pre-engineered, pre-fab element. They design it for gravity loads that you specify, you take care of all of the details, special loading conditions, diaphragms, etc. The hollow core manufacturers and engineers can supply you with lots of typical details of all different types of connections, as well as other loading info that may not be in their standard catalog. Then you adapt those details for your situation, and tweak them to your liking...
