Arturo,

Below is a web site that has some good guidelines on pile testing:

Arturo,

Section 1808.2.8 of the 2006 IBC has very detailed requirements for load testing of piles.  Do you need more than this?

Load test on piles

Hi,
I am looking for a reference about static load test of piles. This is a concrete driven pile, 60ton allowable design load. ASTM D1143-81 apply for Franki piles as well as to precast driven piles? In both cases should the test go up to 150% and 200% of the design load?.
Thanks in advance.
