Well things must have changed. Spaghetti & Chips, Pizza (on pie crust) with Chips, and it's double the price plus the exchange rate...and I'm comparing to Bay Area restaurants.

Totally disagree.  When we went there for my son's wedding, we spent 18 days touring around.  Most of the meals were as good if not better than here.  Mostly because they bring in the food & produce every day so its fresh as opposed to almost everything here being frozen.

   This is just anecdotal. My son got married in the UK 5 years ago
