RE: Shoring Support - book reference

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

I have a project for providing such structures for a pedestrian bridge spanning a multilane highway… does this book cover everything for something like that, or are there other references that I would need to look into?  The project is in FL by the way.

Gautam,

Robert Ratay wrote a book called “Handbook of Temporary Structures in Construction” that might have what you need.

I have been asked by an architect I have been working with to provide shoring design for the dry rot repair of wood columns supporting a three story walkway in an apartment complex.  Could you recommend me some books for shoring design – the design itself and failures and pitfalls.
