BIM Prevalence

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The majority of designs, engineer population, and construction expense are out side of the conference groups that more interested in the minority but large construction projects.

BIM might be more of a proprietary term than a standard.

Large projects with unique elements that give cause for a great wow factor but are dimensionally challenged and might need Mr. BIM or at least a highly accurate 3-D design.

The majority of construction projects are based on standards and a history of development with craftsmen and professionals that have sorted out making the details to fit and coordinate with estimators and bidding contractors.

Its a mistake to use size of projects to measure success of products and systems used.
