I have ESR-1295 for Insulspan. Their report states that they SIP’s are only to be use in SDC A-C. The company then sent me a technical bulletin by NTA No. 105a, which covers installation in SDC D-F. I’m not positive I can get a technical bulletin past the city. So I am wondering if there are any suppliers that have ICC report for SDC D-F.
Just a thought, not having design with SIP’s before but how are holdowns placed in the SIP construction process? Do they typically install the holdown on the holdown studs and then sandwich the panels around the holdown?
If you have any design information that would be helpful also.
All SIPs manufacturers have that data available. Who is the SIPs supplier? I have EPS, Insulspan, Precision Panel, R-Control, Enercept, and Earthcore SIPs. Each panel has to be individually tested, as there is no one size fits all. Check with www.sips.org. They are the association for SIPs.

Does anyone know a some information for the shear wall and diaphragm capacity for SIP constructions? Any link or design information would be appreciated.
