Perhaps a little overly conservative, but you could use the vehicle to barrier impact specified by

ASCE  7-05 Section 4.4.3  (6000 lbs at 18” above deck).

We are working on the pedestrian bridge project in NC.
I am looking for information about the loads on the railings.
Bridge is 5 feet wide, so the ATV is a possibility.
Your help will be appreciated.
