And there was only one question because it took so long to chisel in your name and the answer on the stone tablet you didn't have the time to do more!

I clearly remember buying the actual exam samples from the board - they were like $5 per year, printed on pink, yellow, or blue paper - for my PE exam.

For some inexplicable reason I threw all of those away after I passed the PE test, and came to regret it while studying for the SE.

I don't recall PE exam questions being public information. However, Cali SE exam was public until 1995. Since then, with the exception one time, which board made some of them some samples available in 2007:
