RE: Important Message: SEAINT Continues on LinkedIn SEAOSC group

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
If you are wanting to continue as a list server has anyone considered setting up a "google group" then users could choose e-mail, digest e-mail, or forum style. I don't think there is any cost associated with setting up a group either, but that should be verified.

Fellow engineers,

        I will contribute.

I've copied Thor Tandy separately; Thor is active in EIC (Engineering Institute of Canada); perhaps EIC could take it on or help fund the effort.

I will also check out a couple of private sources.

Regards,

H. Daryl Richardson

I do not understand how much effort does it take to maintain this list, I
thought it was on auto-pilot, with a moderator checking in when things got
heated, a rare occurrence.

A big reason for maintaining my SEAOSC membership was this list, not sure
really why I should keep sending $300 a year for?
I think a lot of list members would pitch in a few dollars a year if someone
is willing to rescue it, any takers?
