Do you realize that you've just asked an e-mail list to give you what would
probably take 4-5 upper level college courses to cover? I'm not sure what
kind of help you're expecting to get. As Andrew said, if this is a real
project, you need to hire a qualified structural engineer. If you're a
young engineer in over your head, you need to be working for and mentored
by a qualified structural engineer. If you're a student, and you're doing
a design project for school, then it sounds like you need to be hitting the
books, forming study groups with your peers, and getting help from your
professors and their teaching assistants.
