RE: [Seaint-SEAOSC] Hp49G

I couldn't live without my HP. When my 48sx died, I had to buy a 50g, because
there was no way I was going to go back to a simpler calculator (even another
HP), even though I don't use more than a small percentage of the calculator's
functionality. I rely too much on the multi-line display. One way to have
the best of both worlds, though, is to get the "m48+" HP emulator for iOS,
by Markus Gonser. It's a great port of the HP 48/49 to the iOS platform.
Design tools for the HP like the ones mentioned in this thread can even be
loaded into the emulator app. My personal favorite is "FIF" - a tool for
doing foot-inch-fraction calcs. I have it running on my HP almost constantly.

HP49G!!!! I love it!!!

Alex, have you thought about porting this to iOS and/or Android?

I'm really surprised we don't have more engineering "apps" like this. I did
purchase Patrick Tsim's "SteelTable" for iOS. I've only used it occasionally
but wanted to show my support for structural engineering apps for iOS.

But having actual design apps on my smartphone would be rad.
